History & Evolution of Bingo
Bingo is one of the oldest games played worldwide — its origins can be traced back to an Italian lottery game in the 16th century. It later spread across Europe and America, becoming a popular social game in church halls, community centres, and charity events. In Malaysia, bingo also has a long history as an entertaining family activity at festivals and community gatherings.
Now, the digital version of bingo offered by 1ong777 has taken all the social elements and excitement of traditional bingo and combined them with the latest technology to create a far more dynamic experience. With stunning graphics, lively sound effects, and interactive features such as real-time chat rooms, bingo at 1ong777 is more than a game — it's a complete community experience.
75-Ball vs 90-Ball Bingo — What's the Difference and Which Is Right for You?
The two most popular bingo formats at 1ong777 are 75-ball and 90-ball bingo. Both offer distinct experiences and each has its own dedicated following among Malaysian players.
75-Ball Bingo is a format more popular in North America and is now the preferred choice of many 1ong777 players. The 75-ball bingo card uses a 5×5 grid with a FREE space in the centre. Its appeal lies in the variety of winning patterns — from straight lines, diagonal lines, letter shapes, and numbers to various pictorial patterns. This makes every round more exciting as the required pattern changes each time.
90-Ball Bingo is the British-style format more familiar among European players and part of the Malaysian community. 90-ball bingo cards use a 9×3 grid with only 15 numbers per card. There are three winning stages — one line, two lines, and a full card (Full House) — giving you more chances to win something every round.
1ong777 Expert Tips: If you're new to online bingo, start with the 75-ball format in the Classic Room — the patterns are easier to follow and rounds run more frequently. Once you're comfortable, try the 90-ball British format for more variety, greater challenge, and bigger prizes.
Progressive Jackpot Bingo — How It Works at 1ong777
One of the biggest draws of bingo at 1ong777 is the progressive jackpot system found in select rooms, most notably the VIP Platinum Room. A progressive jackpot means the prize value keeps growing every time a ticket is purchased by any player in that room — it never stops increasing until someone wins it.
To win the progressive jackpot at 1ong777, players must complete a specific winning pattern within a set number of balls drawn. For example, a full jackpot may only be won if the player completes their card within the first 40 balls drawn. The harder the winning condition, the higher the jackpot value — which is why the VIP jackpot can reach RM 150,000 and beyond.
Even if a player doesn't win the main jackpot, consolation prizes are awarded to players who complete basic patterns in each round. This means you always have a chance to earn a return from every bingo session at 1ong777.
